  Steer well clear of this garage! Poor customer service, expensive and poor work carried out that did not solve the problem! A colleague of mine has always used this garage as they claim to have a speciality in BMW's. He bought a new 2003 BMW diesel model last year and took it in recently for a service and to fix a smoking and slight rattle issue from the exhaust. They had the car for nearly three weeks and in that time he was told that they had sourced the problem to be a bad 'Catalytic Converter' with this replaced for approx £400, plus some various other tinkering they finally billed him £850. When my colleague when to pick the car up he was told that all the problems were fixed and the car was ready to sell - it only took the drive home to realise that the car was smoking as bad as ever. This was a serious hazard to other motorists, my colleague is left seriously out of pocket for work that was not done to fix his car ready for sale, and he risks being pulled over and fined by the police everytime he drives the car. He's got four kids and does not need the hassle from these rogue traders, let alone the expense of £850 for nothing! He has raised all the issues above with the garage but they have no told him that they are not interested in even taking another look at the car unless he is willing to pay up more money for the cost of the labour and parts of whatever component they guess at replacing next - from their point of view it was his own bad luck that the Catalytic converter did not solve the problem! I would highly advise all to AVOID this garage and go elsewhere - these people clearly dont care for their customers and are rip-off merchants.
